Fantastic event, has to be up there with Speyside, compact route, short day, good organisation, had a ball till the last 7 miles of glentrool, never mind live to fight another day..

Shakedown stage was very good, had bits of everything that would be found on the stages and very reasonably priced 10/10!
Stages excellent considering the weather lately. Even though a lot of people got punctures in Poultrybuie Hill and there were a few sharp stones lying around, it was still the bext stage I have ever driven. Just a pity we had to do it all with hand signal instead of notes but didnt take away from it one bit! Big balls were required down the side of Murrays monument, excellent stuff!
Thought the scruitineering and signing on were very good and generally well run event.

First stage was good, second was good till we went off and the fith was really good until we rolled

On the whole great stages, though the 2nd one was so muddy I think it was a bit of a lottery to survive. Just fate with the weather Really enjoyed 3, 4 and 5 great length, great surface
Well run and organised, service park worked in such a small area. Would suggest that some of the road times were a little tight especially road section 7 mainly due to the traffic jam at the exit of service

First time being down there and fairly enjoyed it, look forward to next year!

Many thanks to all who worked so hard to run this event, organisers, marshals, medics, recovery, etc. I loved it last year and enjoyed it even more today. love the compact nature of the event, especially since we knew we had such a long drive at the end of the day. Loved the stages, and the variety, but never seen so many sharp stones, so can understand the puncture problems

On behalf of Hugh Hunter, myself and all the Gerbspeed Team I'd just like to pass on our thanks to all well-wishers on the Merrick Stages. We were given an overwhelming welcome to this Scottish Championship Rally and I seriously believe this is why your Championship is so popular.
Big thanks to all at Machars Car Club and the S.S.C.C for putting on a wonderful event. The format was excellent,the timing was spot on and the stages were in fabulous condition. Congrats to Jock and Kirsty on the win and well done to all prizewinners

Congratulations to the organisers of a very compact and excellently run event. Started at 9.15 am and back in Inverness by 9.15pm. Stages were excellent probably some of the best in the country!! Good to get Evo home in one piece this time

I have been through forests as a marshal or competitor in the majority of commonly used forest in the UK at some point or other over the last few year. The stages in Glentrool on Saturday were some of the smoothest I have ever seen and also stood up very very well to the traffic going through

Cracking event. Stages excellent and tricky conditions with it being wet. Huge thanks to the organisers, the marshals who did an excellent job out in the damp conditions, hardy spectators and fellow competitors. Everyone seemed to have a smile on their faces all day and the atmosphere was excellent .....
